Our Humble Beginnings
It all started back in 2005 when dog lovers Susan and James Langham became increasingly concerned about the ingredients used in commercial pet foods. They wanted their beloved labrador Poppy to enjoy food that was not only delicious but also good for her.
After extensive research into canine nutrition and long hours experimenting in their home kitchen, Susan and James finally created a recipe that Poppy couldn’t get enough of. Their neighbours began asking what the amazing aroma was whenever Susan cooked up a batch. It wasn’t long before they were getting requests from other local dog owners to try their homemade cuisine.
Seeing how much dogs loved their recipes, Susan and James knew they were onto something good. Poppy was their inspiration, and in 2007 the Langhams officially launched Langhams Dog® with a small range of high meat wet foods.
Growing the Brand with Care and Quality
As word spread about the superior taste and quality of Langhams wet dog food, demand grew rapidly. Susan and James moved production to a human-grade facility, obtained all the required licenses and certifications, and expanded their product selection.
